Our goal is to make the arts accessible to everyone!
People with disabilities can’t always express themselves verbally. They may have some condition that keeps them from communicating to others; but art gives them a voice. They are happier when they go home after art class, and the family is very appreciative of that.
After implementing a successful pilot program at Wellington Community High School, we have expanded the program all ESE classes, so we can take the benefits of arts education to a greater number of special needs students. With your help, we can continue this worthwhile program.

ArtStart considers lending a hand to other, like-minded organizations an important part of our mission. We would like to thank the organizations that allowed us to be a part of their events!
Like the swallows returning to Capistrano, the ArtStart butterflies made a successful return to the Spring Family Festival and the Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches. The Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County and Palm Beach County Sports Institute presented the events. Thanks to the help of our volunteers, everyone had a great time making butterflies! Look for our art activities at local carnivals and festivals!
